I held off writing a review on this until after I seen how well it would perform. Well, I can safely say that after a few good rain showers this is holding up well and it is highly accurate when compared to the "official" local rainfall total. This showed a .02" difference from the official rainfall total, and it kept that accuracy through-out each rain/storm we had.The indoor display is easy to read during the day. For darker situations simply press the button on top for a bright back-lit display.It comes with easy to read/understand instructions making set-up a breeze, no calibration required!The only thing I wish it would have come with, is a screen to protect the hole from getting clogged from debris that mother-nature likes to kick up from time to time. I may just purchase a small screen and affix it to the top in such a way so that the wind won't blow it away.Well worth the price, I love being able to just look at my display and instantly know how much rain we have gotten rather than to have to fire up my PC, open my browser and go to the official rainfall site...call me lazy ;)

I selected these because they are made of sturdy plastic that’s crack resistant and they are easy to read with the extra large numbers printed in bold black. Based on online measurements, these were easy to select and a perfect fit for our metal rain gauge!

I received this order quickly and the rain gauges were packed so as not to be broken in shipment. The rain gauge is easy to read from inside the house and fit perfectly in the old fixture. This is just what I wanted and it works perfectly. I would decently recommend this item to anyone needing a rain gauge replacement.

The unit operates as described. It is also accurate when compared to an old style rain gauge.Opportunities: in hindsight, I should have bought the upside version that has Internet connection do I can see the rain gauge electronically. The other comment is the instructions are complete, but not easy to find what you’re looking for. So read everything once you receive it do you can find the reset directions quickly.

This rain gauge is a heavier material then before and it plastic so it will not rust. Also said not to crack in the even water freezes (although, I wonder about that if there's 3" or more water in it). It fits perfectly in the stand that was previously purchased and saved money from having to purchase the entire set. The big numbers on it are great!!

These rain gauges are great! Fit in the holders I have and will not freeze which is a huge bonus. I hate when I forget them out as the weather is changing and I find them broken.

It's been raining every day until I got my amazing rain gauge and now no rain. It looks great out in the yard and I'm sure it will look great with rain in it. lol

Works great and fairly easy to use. Seems super accurate, once you get through the typical Aziazon language barrier in the pretty confusing directions.
