Hardware dependant on an app that is poor (didn't work for us).
Given the positive reviews I ordered one of these. We've tried connecting it using the Android and iOS apps a Samsung S8 and an iPhone 6s, neither would read the QR code, and there's no manual workaround to connect. When I sought solutions online this seems to be a common issue and other reviews are far more balanced than those on Amazon. Obviously worked for some, but I've had to return. Rather an an obscure Chinese product and app developer, I'll stick to a consumer brand with a reputation . . .

Great Product at a very reasonable cost.
Purchased one in April, saw it was ideal for us. Then ordered another 3. All installed mid May 2017. Have had no problem with the product. Easy to use via app. Saves config and reloads after power-failure. Installed via WiFi to Sky router. Customer service was exceptional. Had a problem with non-UK charger sent out. Got in touch with seller and they arranged for replacement to be dispatched. Can't fault their help to ensure I was happy. I would highly recommend this camera and the seller to anyone.

Excellent quality product. Relatively easy to set up. Pan and tilt a bit slow to respond. Picture quality is excellent.

Set it up via Ethernet cable and it's a good camera
Important tip: when you set this camera up, do so by plugging the Ethernet cable from the back of your modem/router into it. If you try to set this up using your mobile it won't work, or at least it didn't for me and I have two of these cameras. If you try and do it that way the camera software you've installed on your mobile tries to send data to the camera via the mobile's speaker: it sounds like a screeching noise (no I'm not kidding) and the camera doesn't pick it up. So, once you've set things up using your Ethernet cable everything will be fine and it will work over Wifi. The Windows version of the software has recently been updated, fixing several bugs. Do upgrade your software if you haven't recently. Someone here said you can view the stream using VLC (video player programme for PC) but I can't see how that's possible.Overall a good camera with a good set of features; the motion sensors may be set off at dawn when it switches from night to day mode, watch out for that, especially if you are linking it to an alarm!
