Essential Anti-Theft Trailer Lock Kit
As a DIYer, I recently picked up the Rhino USA Trailer Hitch Coupler Lock Kit for my 2" trailer, and it's been an absolute game changer in terms of security and peace of mind. One thing I really liked about this lock kit is the robust construction. The reinforced solid steel feels incredibly durable, giving me confidence that it will hold up against potential theft attempts. The lock mechanism itself is straightforward and operates smoothly, which is a huge plus when you're in a hurry or dealing with less-than-ideal weather conditions.Installing the lock was a breeze. It fits perfectly on my trailer's hitch, and the tight fit makes it clear that it's not going anywhere. I use my trailer for various purposes, from towing my boat to hauling equipment for home projects, and knowing that it's secure when I'm not around is invaluable. The bright color of the lock is another feature I appreciate. It acts as a visual deterrent, signaling to would-be thieves that this trailer is well-protected. The peace of mind this adds is worth every penny. If I had to nitpick, the only minor downside would be the initial stiffness of the lock mechanism. However, a bit of lubricant solved this issue quickly. In essence, the Rhino USA Trailer Hitch Coupler Lock Kit has proven to be an excellent investment for keeping my trailer safe. Its solid build, ease of use, and deterrent factor make it an essential item for anyone looking to secure their trailer effectively.

Seams to be well made, but would not fit on our grand design camper.

Rhino trailer tongue locks
Excellent lock set for my cargo trailer. Nice that both locks are keyed alike. These are not cheap aluminum, made from steel.Highly recommend.

The infamous 751 key.
This lock looks like it will do a great job keeping an honest man honest. When I first opened the box, I was impressed with how heavy the tongue lock was. It felt like it was made of something. It was a bit snug on my trailer's ball coupler. But that is not a fault of it, just a limitation of "universal fit". A couple taps here and there and it is on or off. The small top lock was less impressive, but I didn't need it anyways. Then I picked up the included key. Instantly I recognized the key. CH751.The key provided was not labelled as a 751, but I pulled one of the dozens I have and yep, it works perfectly.Yes, I did just tell you all what key opens this lock. ( or at least the one I received )I was a locksmith for several years and then did telecom for a couple decades. The 751 key is the number one key I have ever come across.85% of all telecom cabinets and truck toppers use this key.It is so simple; it can be picked with either a bent or broken paperclip.I believe a one-armed paperclip could pick this lock.Throw back: for those that remember the last millennium, there was a high profile hom!c!de case that revolved around the fact that the suspect had one of those keys on his keychain.

does not fit all trailer couplers.... got it to fit with a little grinding
I am giving this a 3 out of 5 because of the frustration. I ordered 3 locks. two 2-5/16 and one 2in they had it labeled as same day shipping. so I went for it. item never showed up. after 3days I called amazon trying to find out the delay. the lady I spoke with couldn't tell me what the delay was but would reship the order. she said it would be another 3 to 4 days on delivery. they offer same day delivery or over night delivery she said she couldn't promise that. so I asked her to cancel the order and refund me and I would just reorder the overnight lockes.they came the next morning and 2 of the 3 locks worked fine but one of the 2-5/16 locks would not open with any key that was sent with the locks. I called rhino customer service and they are sending me a replacement..... hope its keyed the same... they said it would be. now I go out to try the lock on my camper and what do you know it wont lock. the lock wont slide on all the way. i figured out what was blocking the lock from sliding on all the way and so I got my ginder out and knocked off about 1/4in and now it works fine.then on too my travel trailer is a 2in coupler the coupler lock works fine but the latch lock will not fit the tongue latch. the locks seams to be made out of pot metal vs cast iron or steel as they claim solid steel. not sure how well it will hold up to a couple smacks from a 160z hammer or baby sledges hammer. I hope this helps. Rhino CS seams to be good so far.
