AIRWIRL 3.0 Mobile Cool Down System - Personal Cooling - Portable Aircon - AC

I usually don't take the time to write reviews for things I buy but in this case I had to make an exception. I am an overweight young male and I tend to sweat a lot. NO, regular fans don't work, they just blow the hot air around. I work in a cubical and I still find myself sweating, especially during the summer months. It can be embarrassing and my clothes start to show my sweat marks. Once I saw Airwirl I knew I had to AT LEAST try it. When I first saw the packaging the product came in I knew I didn't buy junk. Pure quality and when a company shows that kind of craftsmanship in their packaging, you just know the product is going to be the same way. And I was right. Unless you own an Airwirl for yourself, you won't know what I am talking about, but this product didn't cut any corners. Not with it's design, nor with its quality of material. You can tell when a company cuts corners to make the extra buck and thinks their customers won't notice. That was my first impression, this company cares about it's consumers getting what they paid for. Next, it's functionality, does the product produce what it says? ABSOLUTELY YES! This is literally the perfect product for me. I sit at a desk with multiple around me and not one person has said anything about it's noise. It is ultra quite and perfect for any office. Next, all I had to do was fill up my cup with ice, and it was ready to go. I haven't fill up my cup twice in a single day yet and I use this thing for hours on end. It is as normal as getting your cup of coffee before starting work, I just fill it up with ice and I forget about it. It just sits there does it's job all day (unlike the rest of my co-workers). The Airflow is incredibly strong. And if you want it to blow in a certain direction, it comes with this cool air hose and nozzle that does just that. And the Airwirl is very convenient. It can go anywhere and doesn't get in the way. I either plop in on my desk, my cup holder in my car, or I bring it to baseball games. I haven't been this satisfied with a product in a long time, so therefore I thought they deserved a decent review. I would recommend this product to anyone. If your looking to stay cool anytime anywhere, then this is the product for you. Thanks.

Read the other reviews for "how well it works" This review is to alert people to a serious design flaw.I received my Airwirl today and after testing it out a few times, I noticed a very critical design flaw in it's construction which is making me return it without further use.CRITICAL DESIGN FLAW: The ONLY thing holding the intake straws to the lid is the styrofoam used for both insulation AND properly directing air flow into the intake straws. DO NOT force the twisting of the lid into the cup if there is ice blocking the intake "straws" from spinning around inside the cup wall! If the lid is force-twisted down into the cup it will compress & eventually SHRED the styrofoam.Even if it's done carefully, making sure not to overfill the cup with ice, the mere wear-and-tear of compressing the styrofoam via pushing the straws through the ice will decay the styrofoam's effectiveness. I don't see this product keeping it's effectiveness anymore than 2 Summers of regular use because of this issue. If they figure out how to mount the intake straws to the lid by a more secure method (i.e. screws) this product will have a much longer lifespan.

Sometimes, I'm hot when other folks are comfortable. This product solves that!I also use reusable plastic ice cubes, so there's no need to worry about disposing of meltwater. When the cubes melt, back in the freezer they go and I retrieve the next set of reusable cubes.10/10 would recommend!

I had high hopes for this product based on the reviews that it received. I am sad to say that it does not cool even a little. Try a fan instead.

I REALLY wanted to love this product!! My son can’t regulate his body temperature and we live in south FL. I opened it the moment I received it and followed the directions. Although it “worked” there is no way it could keep my son cool in his stroller, let alone anywhere else. I believe this technology is definitely on the right track. Unfortunately for us, they have a long way to go and there is no way it will meet the need of my son.

I used it on a hot day at Disney the stroller perimeter kept at nice and kool temperature

Just got my airwirl yesterday and it has exceeded my expectations. I am very impressed with this product! Can’t wait to use it this weekend at the ball fields while the kids play! I will be making all the parents jealous!

I like my cup but I don't like how water developed within 10 minutes of use. I empty water out about 3 times in 30 minutes of use.
